Process Optimization and Workflow Design
02 / PROCESS EXPERIENCEAn SOP designed around the person using it.
A practical operating guide that turns a complex project workbook into clear actions, dropdown definitions and role-specific decisions.
A process can technically work and still be difficult to use. When handoffs are unclear, steps are duplicated or people have to create workarounds just to keep things moving, the process itself becomes a source of friction. Improving the experience means designing the workflow around how people actually need to move through the work.
1 usable source of truthHow do you improve a business process without adding more complexity?
Start by removing friction before adding structure. Look at where people wait, repeat work, lose context, switch tools or rely on informal workarounds. Then simplify the path, clarify the handoffs and make the next action easier to understand. A better process should reduce the effort required to do the work, not simply document more of it.
